If you love the Subaru brand of automobiles and are looking for a new hybrid option in the Fort Myers area, you’re in luck. Recently, before the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, Subaru automakers debuted its first plug-in hybrid model, the aqa creative writing coursework deadline.

The creative writing fiction exercises is one of our favorite models here at O’Brien Subaru Fort Myers, which is why we’re so excited to share news about the upcoming hybrid model. Set to go on sale next year, the Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid comes with an all-new “StarDrive” powertrain.

The new Subaru powertrain features a 2.0-liter boxer engine, two electric motors, a symmetrical all-wheel drive system, and a Lineartonic variable transmission. Part of what separates the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid from other hybrid models are the two electric motors.

While one electric motor powers the vehicle while recharging the battery via regenerative braking, the other motor functions as both an engine starter and generator to produce electricity to the 8.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

Total output for the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid is 148 horsepower. Although that’s not as powerful as some gas-only engines, thanks to the hybrid nature of the crossover, it can accelerate from 0-60 mph faster than the gasoline version of the car.

Getting around the Fort Myers, FL area or to and from work is a breeze thanks to the car’s ability to travel up to 17 miles on electric power alone. Meanwhile, the combined range is estimated at around 480 miles.

The hybrid model also features an 8-inch infotainment screen, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and all the advanced safety features you love and expect from a Subaru model equipped with the Subaru EyeSight safety suite. We’ll keep you posted on new details and updates regarding the upcoming 2019 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid as we learn more. For now, stop by our Fort Myers Subaru dealership for all your current needs.
