April may be the fourth month of the year, but the big number for Subaru this month is five.
That’s because April 2012 was the fifth consecutive month of growing sales for the brand. The numbers are in, and Subaru has reported 26,310 vehicle sales for the last month, representing a six-percent increase over April 2011. Year-to-date sales rose 16 percent to 106,878.
Subaru sales by model are also seeing good numbers, with the most sales going to the Subaru Outback. Ft. Myers drivers love this model for its performance, eye-catching style, competitive value and so much more. Also selling exceptionally well was the Subaru Impreza, which saw a 157-percent increase in year-to-date sales over 2011. Finally, the Subaru Legacy saw 12-percent growth over the same period.
April 2012 also saw Subaru accomplish a new feat: The brand sold more than 100,000 vehicles in four months, marking a sales first in the automaker’s 44 years in the industry. The future looks even brighter than April for Subaru, which is planning on introducing new vehicles to the market.
