At O’Brien Subaru Ft. Myers, we know that Subaru owners don’t just care about taking home the perfect vehicle (though that’s important, too!) – they also want to find ways to give back. Well don’t worry, Subaru has found the perfect opportunity.

The brand is host sponsor to Dining Out for Life, which is a nationwide event held in 55 locations throughout the country to support AIDS service organizations. The greatest part about this great cause is that there’s still plenty of time to get involved! Mark your calendar for tomorrow night, April 24, buckle into your 2014 Subaru Legacy and head out of Ft. Myers for a tasty dinner with an even sweeter aftertaste: the joy of helping people in need.

The nearest event location for Ft. Myers drivers is Dining Out for Tampa Bay, where participants will have 60 dining options, and that means 60 opportunities to help. Consider everything from Seabreeze Island Grill to Pan y Vino and Country Skillet, then stop in for a meal!

Your evening out will benefit more than a thousand men, women and children fighting HIV/AIDS nearby in Tampa Bay. That’s because each participating restaurant will donate 25 percent of the cost of diners’ meals to continuing the fight against HIV/AIDS.

This year’s event marks the largest ever, with two additional participating cities over last year (when participants helped raise over $4 million!) and 21 more than the 2007 event. Since launching in 1991, Dining Out for Life has helped local HIV/AIDS service organizations increase local awareness and involvement all while advancing HIV/AIDS support.
