At O’Brien Subaru, we don’t like to look backward. We’re always looking ahead for our next big opportunity, and we’re always inviting our customers to join us as we move forward.

But when it comes to achieving record sales for last month, we can’t help looking back with pride. But to understand why we’re so happy about our vehicles’ performance, we have to look even farther back. That’s because March of this year marked the fourth consecutive month of record Subaru sales and the second-highest sales month in Subaru history. All of this means that the first quarter of 2012 was the best-performing quarter in Subaru’s history.

Going by the figures, Subaru sold 32,387 vehicles last month, which represents a 20.33-percent increase over March of last year. Year-to-date sales are also up over last year, with 80,568 vehicle sales marking a 19-percent increase over 2011. The Impreza also enjoyed a record month in March, celebrating its lifetime best sales month with a 214-percent increase. The Legacy model also earned highest-ever sales in March.

With numbers like these starting off 2012 for Subaru, we have high hopes for the future, and not just for the Naples drivers coming to our car dealership in Ft. Myers. We appreciate the business of every driver who has helped us reach these outstanding sales marks. We can’t help having high hopes for the remainder of 2012. In fact, Subaru anticipates celebrating its fourth-consecutive year of record sales at the end of this year.
