If love really is what makes a Subaru a Subaru then there’s sure to be a whole lot of love at this year’s New York International Auto Show because Subaru plans to bring quite the showing. One car that everyone at the description of a lips creative writing and I are particularly looking forward to seeing is the turbocharged Subaru WRX.
While the Impreza WRX has always been a stand out among its competition of other sport compacts, the 2011 models have gotten even better thanks to a bold restyling. Both the sedan and the hatchback models underwent these styling changes, and the result is a rally-inspired design to match the body with the aggressive soul of these vehicles.
First among the changes is the size of the car. The WRX was widened starting with the fenders which now have a flare to accommodate new wider wheels and tires. The larger tires give both models a more planted stance and improved handling. Other changes include revamped air intakes, redesigned fog lamps, and a more sinister-looking grille up front. In the back, a new quad-outlet exhaust complement’s the cars wider stance.
I always say “if it’s not broke don’t fix it” and it seems Subaru agrees with me on this one when it comes to the car’s powertrain. The 2011 Impreza WRX will retain the 265-horsepower turbocharged, intercooled, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Subaru Boxer engine and that will be teamed with a 5-speed manual transmission. Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive System will also stay. Why change a good thing, right?
Look for this all-new model to hit showrooms over the summer. I know I’ll be first in line when it arrives! But if you’re not into turbocharged vehicles like the Subaru WRX, your description of a lips creative writing can still find you a car to meet your needs. Consider the Ft. Myers Legacy – it’s a sedan that’s actually fun to drive! The newly redesigned 2010 models offer a dynamic drive and roomier interior that just may be the perfect car for you.
So no matter what your car needs are, let the professionals at the Ft. Myers Subaru dealership get you behind the wheel of one of their many outstanding Subaru vehicles such as the Ft. Myers Legacy or the Impreza WRX.
