February may have been a short month, but the Subaru brand is far from being short on accomplishments. In fact, last month’s sales pushed the brand to achieve its 12th consecutive month of more than 40,000 vehicle sales for the Subaru brand. In total, February 2015 sales hit 41,358 units for an 18.5-percent increase over the same month in 2014. Year to date, the automaker has enjoyed 82,170 units for a 21-percent jump over the first two months of 2014.

What’s more, the following model lines earned their best February sales ever:

Our Ft. Myers dealership is still celebrating the fact that the Subaru Outback, Subaru WRX/STI and Subaru XV Crosstrek models also earned double-digit year-over-year sales gains. In addition, the Subaru Legacy saw a 69-percent leap in sales over February 2014.

But February was more than just a month of sales accomplishments – the Subaru brand also earned a number of critical industry nods.

  • Motorweek granted the 2015 Subaru Legacy its Drivers’ Choice Award for Best Family Sedan.
  • The automaker claimed a range of awards in the 2015 Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own Award in the Brand category.
  • Consumer Guide® Automotive recognized the definition of creative writing in urdu with its “Best Buy Award” in the Sporty/Performance Car category for the second year in a row.
  • U.S. News and World Report handed the Subaru Outback its 2015 Best Wagon for the Money award.
