A lot of positive things are being said about the new Subaru Impreza WRX. The WRX isn’t quite as good as the Miami Heat’s starting lineup, but it’s pretty darn close. For those looking for a practical car that offers the ability to commute to work in the morning and still have a little fun in the evening, the WRX will hit the spot.
When it comes to off-roading and rally racing, the WRX is not able to top the STI. However, the WRX works well for everyday driving trips, while still performing admirably during weekend sporty activities. Whereas the STI still rules as a racer over multiple surfaces, Naples car dealer O’Brien Ft. Myers Subaru will most likely see the WRX being a more practical purchase for car buyers. But that is not to say that the WRX is a slouch! Boasting 265hp and a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds, the WRX will still be very, very fun to drive.
In the looks department, the car also features some wider 17-inch wheels, newly flared fenders, restyled bumpers, and wider fog lights. Even with all these improvements, the off-road capabilities of the WRX compare closely to its off-roading STI cousin. The comfort level is high with the WRX as well. Even for people with tall (or wide) frames, independent reviews are coming back positive in both comfort and safety. This is something that is sometimes missing in a car that can make the trip to your local grocery store (or your local Naples car dealer!) and still allow you to take the “fun” way back. Just make sure the bread and milk don’t get smashed while you are off-roading!
The WRX will certainly be turning heads throughout Florida and Fort Myers. Legacy and Impreza drivers have been used to seeing heads turn as they go by, and the new WRX model will definitely continue that trend. Keeping costs low has remained a high priority for Subaru this year. In case you missed our last blog post about the pricing of the WRX, buyers should see prices from the mid 20’s to mid 30’s, depending on the trim. The base price is $25,495. Also, Fort Myers Legacy buyers can expect to pay anywhere from the low 20’s to low 30’s, depending on trim. It may be a good idea to test drive the WRX, Legacy, or any other Subaru, to see which model is right for you.
