When you drive a Subaru, there is so much love powering every journey that you really can’t help but share it. And with so many outstanding charities out there in need of a little love from Subaru and its drivers, we really can’t keep it all to ourselves.
That’s just one of the reasons why Subaru of America has reintroduced its “Share the Love” event in 2012.
Through this program, Subaru Facebook Fans can log on Aug. 6-26 to vote for the final two “People’s Choice” charities to be the recipients of a total $5 million donation that will assist five charitable organizations in their work. Fans may vote daily, so if you love your Ft.
Myers Subaru Legacy and want to share it, then don’t hold back!
Already selected to receive this year’s donation are Make-A-Wish, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and Meals on Wheels Association of America. Candidates for the People’s Choice vote include Alzheimer’s Association, American Forests, First Book, Leave No Trace, Special Olympics and USO. Donations to date total $4,376,428.
Through the “Share the Love” event, Subaru donates up to $5 million through contributing $250 for every new vehicle sold or leased between Nov. 21 and Jan. 2. In the program’s four-year history, Subaru has donated a total of nearly $20 million to charitable organizations. This is the second consecutive year that Facebook fans have been invited to cast
their votes in the final donation decisions.
