Subaru is hosting the 25th annual Sea Otter Classic, in an effort to support the environment and the cycling community. This is the second year that Subaru is sponsoring as it is part of their Subaru Loves the Earth initiative.
The initiative is part of the Subaru goal to improve our environment, and those of us who inhabit it in our local communities. The four-day Sea Otter Classic “Celebration of Cycling” lets both professional and ammeter cyclists participate in several recreational events, compete in a variety of races, and have just an all around great time at the largest bike exposition in North America.
Tim Tagye, promotions and sponsorship manager for Subaru of America, Inc. said that “Subaru is proud to once again sponsor the Sea Otter Classic and support an event that brings the outdoors and the environment into focus.”
Subaru is dedicated to preserving our environment and will have a booth that will showcase vintage models, and guests who visit the booth and opt-in will receive a $1 token which they can choose to deposit in one of the National Park Foundation, Leave No Trace, or International Mountain Bicycling Association donation boxes. Subaru will also donate $1 for every participant, up to $5,000.
