An automotive legacy isn’t born overnight. It takes generations of hard work and cunning innovation to craft an icon that draws more and more drivers to it every year. A legacy such as this exists within the Subaru vehicle family, and even though the company can trace its roots back 50 years, there’s still plenty of road ahead.
Subaru vehicles like the http://fieldscdjrblog.com/how-to-do-your-homework-without-getting-distracted/ or the 2018 Subaru Impreza are some of the most popular and well-loved vehicles on the road today. They stand out for their special kind of charm, incredible quality, and attention and dedication to safety. So what do the next 50 years hold for our favorite automaker here at O’Brien Subaru of Fort Myers? It would seem that there’s quite a bit in store.
A big update for the near future is the all-new 2019 Subaru Forester, which recently debuted at the New York Auto Show. It features the new Subaru model design language with a bold front fascia and bolder body that give it a contemporary and luxurious feel. And this model is only the beginning.
According to Digital Trends, the new design language marks an evolution for the brand, and it’s something we can expect to see a lot more of in the future. According to the site, which spoke to Mamoru Ishii, the head of the Subaru brand design department, the new design philosophy espouses two essential qualities: “dynamic” and “solid,” and the Subaru Forester is definitely both.
This design philosophy is also evident in the recent Subaru Viziv concept which is meant to showcase the capabilities of two of the brand’s most popular configurations, the crossover, and the wagon.
“Crossover means different bodies in one form. Different values, too, like practicality and performance. It’s not necessarily a specific body style,” Ishii said to Digital Trends.
Ishii went on to say that the future holds more vehicles of this nature and many more crossovers to come. It’s a testament to the company knowing what works and what they’re good at. To explore current Subaru models for sale, head on down to 2850 Colonial Blvd., today.
