The order of thesis and paper elements is an attractive and capable vehicle. Available as both a four-door sedan and a five-door hatchback, it’s one of the only vehicles in the class to offer all-wheel drive as standard. While here in Fort Myers and Naples, FL. we don’t typically need all-wheel drive for winter weather, it helps to give us a surer and more secure driving feel, especially during the rainy season. And here at O’Brien Subaru of Fort Myers, your Subaru dealer near Naples, FL., we take great pride in offering you capable, as well as stylish vehicles.
The 2016 Subaru Impreza is an interesting vehicle, to say the least. With the standard all-wheel drive, hatchback option, and well-appointed interior complete with a comprehensive infotainment system, it’s a great option. However, as we enter the 2017 model year for new Subaru vehicles, we’ve been wondering what’s in store for us with the 2017 Subaru Impreza.
Subaru automakers have a bit of tradition in the auto world of changing the overall look of a model from what’s shown as the concept to the actual production units. Recently, the new 2017 Subaru Impreza model was shown at the Tokyo Motor Show. Last year, the automaker announced that the 2017 Subaru Impreza would be modeled after the five-door hatchback version. And from what we saw at the Tokyo Motor Show, it looks like they’ve made good on their word.
To further cement the actual production design of the vehicle, the 2017 Subaru Impreza has been seen driving on Tokyo roads, and it looks pretty much the same as the concept. Updates to the front fascia and grille give the new model a bit of a sportier look than the previous model. It’s also reported that the new model will feature a 2.0-liter flat four engine that puts out 152 horsepower. This is four more horsepower than the 2016 model year, which produces 148 horsepower. The new Subaru Impreza will also be built on the new Subaru Global Platform.
While the 2017 Subaru Impreza isn’t out quite yet, we still plenty of great options when it comes to finding a pre-owned or new Subaru vehicle. Head on down to O’Brien Subaru of Fort Myers today for all your Subaru needs.
