Subaru automakers have made a couple of pretty cool announcements lately, including that the creative writing meetup and the 2016 Subaru WRX STI models will come chock full of the latest and greatest in safety technology; something that Subaru automobiles have always prided themselves on, and with good reason.
This new safety technology includes some advancements to some things we’ve become accustomed to in recent years like blind spot detection, lane change assist, and the ever popular rear cross traffic alert. Further new enhancements include major updates to the STARLINK system which has redesigned touchscreen infotainment user interface which will vastly improve your driving experience.
For even more safety, the 2016 Subaru WRX models will include the vastly popular EyeSight system, which has been rated as one of the highest in front crash prevention systems. The WRX will also use a Subaru-developed stereo camera technology that works in tandem with the EyeSight tech to help you with the adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, and lane-assist technology, keeping you safe in the Ft. Myers, and Naples area.
2015 saw a new introduction of the WRX and WRX STI hitting roads featuring a new wide-body design to the already appealing, sporty sedan. These enhancements included a stiffer chassis to help with performance under the hood. Now, our friendly Subaru automakers are filling out the rest of the WRX line on the inside to give you the best possible experience possible.
The WRX looks to be really shaping up over the last couple of years, and while some who were excited to see the concept of the WRX that had floated around online were surprised to see a slightly different look. But they shouldn’t fear as it’s possible that the 2016 Subaru Impreza could offer a similar look.
Here at O’Brien Subaru Ft. Myers we love all of the great advancements in safety and technology for the 2016 Subaru WRX. For any of your Subaru related needs, come and say hi to us at 2850 Colonial Blvd Fort Myers, FL 33966 today!
