At our Ft. Myers Subaru dealership, we know that our customers are always looking for more. More safety, more value, more style and more fun. Now, we’re celebrating more love, and we have to say that nothing feels better than that.

As Subaru of America, Inc., heads into its seventh-annual “Share the Love” event, the automaker has announced its intentions to donate $15 million to charitable partners. Last year, donations totaled $10 million to “Share the Love” charities, and over the program’s six years the automaker has donated $35 million in total.

Between Nov. 20 and Jan. 2, the automaker will donate $250 to the customer’s charity of choice for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased. Eligible charities include:

  • Make-A-Wish®, which grants children with life-threatening medical conditions the opportunity to see their one true wish brought to life.
  • ASPCA®, which has worked to provide care, relief and services to animals in need for 148 years.
  • National Park Foundation, which works with the National Park Service to support our national parks and programs while building awareness of the need for maintaining and nourishing national parks in the future.
  • Meals On Wheels Association of America®, which provides community-based senior nutrition programs through local support with national leadership. Donations help to ensure the delivery of nutritious meals and friendly visits as well as safety checks to assist these seniors in maintaining healthy lifestyles.

Subaru retailers will also have the opportunity to add a local charity for customers to consider as donation recipients, and 608 local charities have been selected to date. In addition, Subaru retailers will be making separate donations to local charities to supplement the corporate donations.
