At, we hope that last week’s holiday left you with the warm, fuzzy realization of all the love in your life. Whether you’re in a long-term relationship or happily single, there’s one thing we can all agree on: there’s always enough love to share. And when it comes to Subaru owners, sharing the love is never a difficult proposition.

How do we know? Last week, Subaru of America, Inc., announced that Subaru “Share the Love” Donations over the last five years totaled $25 million – and counting! At the end of each year, the Subaru charitable event donates $250 for every new Subaru vehicle leased or sold to one of five designated charities, with the new Subaru owner selecting the recipient charity. Now in its fifth year running, “Share the Love” recipient charities include:

  • Make-A-Wish
  • Meals on Wheels Association of America
  • Alzheimer’s Association
  • USO
  • The ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)

Through receiving Subaru “Share the Love” donations, charities have been able to fund senior citizen meal delivery programs, Alzheimer’s research, wish-granting, animal health services and support programs for military members and their families. Previous “Share the Love” recipient charities include the National Wildlife Federation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, the Boys & Girls Club, the Ocean conservancy, Special Olympics and American Forests.

No matter whom we share our donations and support with as a brand, this Fort Myers Subaru dealer is proud to take part in an annual event with such a positive influence on the world around us, and we couldn’t thank our drivers enough for their support and interest in our brand.
