The remains one of the Subaru brand’s most iconic vehicles. For many, it conjures up memories of long road trips, moving apartments with your friends, and for the veteran fans out there, Crocodile Dundee. And that’s why it was such a momentous occasion when the automaker recently sold its two millionth Subaru Outback.

In a commercial from 1996, Crocodile Dundee deftly navigates his Subaru Outback through the Australian Outback itself while being chased. In the commercial, he claims that the vehicle is the world’s first “thesis help in jalandhar.”

The world’s first “sport utility wagon” has gone on quite the journey since then, capturing the hearts of not only us here at O’Brien Subaru of Fort Myers, but American drivers all across the country. So to commemorate its two millionth sale, we thought we would highlight some of our favorite features of the incredible new 2018 Subaru Outback.

One of the first things you’re likely to notice about the 2018 Subaru Outback is the new front fascia and grille, which sport a more aggressive look than previous years. The interior also gets a bit of a redesign with a new steering wheel and center console, as well as an upgraded Subaru STARLINK™ infotainment screen.

The current Subaru Outback offers six trim levels: the 2018 Subaru Outback 2.5i, 2.5i Premium, 2.5i Limited, 2.5i Touring, 3.6R Limited, and 3.6R Touring. Features range from driver aids like hill descent control and automatic headlights to additional USB ports to leather upholstery and keyless entry and ignition and more.

The 2018 Subaru Outback also features the comprehensive Subaru EyeSight® safety system, which is a must-have for any driver.
