The 2019 Chicago Auto Show starts this weekend, but that’s not stopping our favorite automaker here at from giving us a taste of what’s to come. Recently, the automaker gave us a couple of teaser images of the upcoming 2020 Subaru Legacy, and we’re impressed.

The current 2019 Subaru Legacy is a capable sedan that distinguishes itself from the crowded midsize sedan segment due to the automaker’s ingenuity and track record for building extraordinarily safe and reliable vehicles. However, that’s not stopping them from going even further by giving the 2020 model more features and an extra level of luxury.

That elevated level of luxury comes from an image of the vehicle’s interior which is primarily taken up by a massive vertical infotainment screen swathed in leather trim. Surrounding the large, tablet-style screen are several components like a “status bar,” HVAC controls, knobs, and buttons.

It’s expected that the large infotainment screen allows drivers access to a variety of controls, media, and settings, although it’s unclear whether or not it comes with additional functionality outside the regular options. There’s also potential that the larger screen is only available on certain trim levels.

The other teaser image gives us a glimpse of what’s on the outside. While the lighting keeps much of the vehicle shrouded in shadow, from what we can tell, the 2020 Subaru Legacy keeps its overall design with some minor tweaks.

Luckily, we won’t have to wait long here in the Fort Myers, FL area to get more details on the upcoming model as the Chicago Auto Show is next week. We expect to see and learn a lot more about the new Subaru Legacy then. For now, please stop by our Fort Myers Subaru dealership for all your vehicle needs like expert Subaru service.
